3) Navigating to see a particular portion of the tree is made easier by using the 6 index pages: Surname alphabetical order, Given name alphabetical order, Birthdate order, Birthplace order, Cemetery order, and RIN order (Resource Identification Number, the order in which the individuals were added to the tree). Scroll down to find a particular person. Click on any of the names in the index page to take you to the Family page for that person. Clicking on the FamilySearchID button will open a new window or browser tab and take you to a Family Search website page for that person. You need to have an account with them (you can set one up free) to see this information. To return to this family tree just close out the Family Search page. Clicking on a FindAGraveID number will open a new window or browser tab and take you to the Find-A-Grave website for that person. To return to this family tree just close out the Find-A-Grave page. To transfer to one of the other index types, click one of the buttons at the top of the screen.
4) Where you see a question mark instead of an ID number it means that a FSID or FGID entry has not yet been found for this person. Clicking on the question mark will initiate a search on the Family Search or FindAGrave website as an aid to finding an entry if one exists.
5) Navigating to another portion of the tree can also be done by using the Descendant, Ancestor and Relatives pages. Scroll down to find a particular person. Click on any of the names in these pages to take you to the Family page for that person.
